Rosanna gives you the prettiest of slice onion from bulbs growing on robust and reliable sets. Rosanna scores high marks both in the kitchen for salads and an essential ingredient to gamey casseroles and does well for performance outdoors during the growing process.
The unusual variety gives you full and generous-sizes bulbs from late summer. Simply harvest your sets as the green leaves start to yellow and wilt whether this is from a raised Setser such as a Veg Trug or directly from an allotment bed.
