Lobelias giving a longer flower performance; this seed raised lobelia is a perfect contender for adding to hanging baskets and containers, spreading through and quickly giving cover and visual impact to your pot and basket displays. Place 3 plants at equal distances around the edge of a pot with 12in (30cm) diameter to froth over the sides in an exuberant display.
Alternatively add these flowers to the front of flowerbeds, spacing your plants around 12in (30cm) apart in all directions. An area of a yard by a foot (1m by 30cm) will fit around 6-9 plants.
