Leek Seeds ‘Norwich’ F1
- Vigorous, upright variety
- Harvest as baby leeks, or grow on to full size
- Slow to bolt, producing a good crop with smooth shanks
Sowing Indoors
Sow thinly into pre-watered seed trays 1cm deep. Place in warmth, 10-15°C and keep moist at all times.
Planting Out
When 20cm tall, plant into holes 15cm deep, then fill with water. Plant 20cm apart, in rows 30cm apart. Sowing Outdoors Sow thinly into pre-watered soil 1cm deep in rows 30cm apart in a seedbed. Keep soil moist at all times. Thin to 20cm apart.
Aftercare
To ensure long white stems, draw up soil around plants as they develop. Keep well watered and feed regularly. 0 0
