Natural Coco coir brick increases the porosity of the potting mix which helps to keep the soil loose and airy helping in better root growth. Better root growth results in better plant growth and higher yield.
Simply put your compressed Coco Coir Peat brick in a container, add water and let it sit until the water is absorbed (approx. 20min). Fluff it up and you are ready to use it. After adding water the 5kg block expands in to 75ltr of compost.
High water and nutrition holding capacity develops strong and healthy root system, good air porosity, ideal for rooting cuttings and potting on seedlings.
Coco & Coir has excelled in recent independent trials, beating some of the UK’s top-selling peat-based and peat-free composts. Conducted by Stockbridge Technology Centre which is the UK’s top horticulture testing facility, they found that Coco & Coir products produced petunias two and a half times the size of the markets best-selling peat-free compost. Tomatoes also saw a 33% larger growth with a much stronger root system resulting in a combination of larger plants and better foliage colour throughout all that were tested.
